When Jo
Hames began toilet training her first born Matthew as a
toddler she thought it wasn't as hard as she'd imagined.
However, when he sprinkled all over the bathroom floor she

upright in bed. "What we need is a wee
target for the boys to aim for!"
Her
husband made a wee target paddle that hung in their
bathroom and the boys aimed at it. This evolved to one
made of plastic with a face on it and they hung it just
above the waterline in the bowl of the toilet.

boys thought the wee target was fantastic, "Let me
try, let me try" both Matthew and Ashley fought over who was
aiming next. Amazingly they both became crack shots in
record time. Even their younger sister wanted a go
at hitting the target.
Designs
were worked on and a prototype using heat-sensitive ink was
invented so that a black circle vanished to reveal a picture
of a truck, a car, a target or a soccer ball. Then the
cold water of the flushing action returned the target to
become the black circle to be used all over again.
Each wee target lasts for approximately 3 months in
temperatures under 35.
